Instructions
The hearing protection consists of two parts: a pill-shaped sound filter and a universal reusable earplug (Image A). The filters are by default placed in the largest (8–12 mm) earplugs. First try this size of earplug according to the instructions below to insert into the ear canal. If the large earplug is difficult to insert or feels uncomfortable, you can try the smaller (6–11 mm) earplug. Don't forget to transfer the filters and place them correctly (see "Changing earplug size"). To achieve certified attenuation it's important that there is a good seal between the earplug and the ear canal.
Inserting earplugs
To reduce the risk of infections it's important that both your hands and the earplugs are clean before inserting them. Grip the tab of the earplug between thumb and index finger (Image B). To make insertion easier, pull the top of your ear out and up with your other hand (Image C). Push and twist the earplug carefully into the ear until it sits comfortably and forms a good seal with the ear canal. Position the tab at the top of the ear, so the tab is easier to find and grip when removing the earplug (Image D).
Removing from the ear
Before removing the earplugs from the ear, it's recommended to first break the seal with the ear canal with a careful twisting motion. This helps prevent unpleasant pressure on the eardrum. After cleaning, store the hearing protection in a clean storage system.
Changing earplug size
Removing the filter
- • Carefully squeeze the earplug just below the filter until it 'pops' out of the earplug (Image E).
Inserting the filter
- • Make sure the logo on the filter faces upward, so it remains visible after placement in the earplug.
- • Place the filter in the largest opening of the earplug. The best way is to push the filter at an angle into the cavity, first placing the bottom of the filter into the earplug. Then push on the top of the filter to position it correctly in the earplug cavity (Image F).
To achieve certified attenuation, the filter must be correctly placed.
Cleaning
Clean the earplug after each use to remove earwax (cerumen) and any other dirt. The earplugs can be wiped with a damp cloth or antibacterial cleaning wipes. If you remove the filter from the earplug (see "Changing earplug size") the earplug can also be cleaned with soap or hygiene tablets. Then rinse the earplug with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly.
We recommend cleaning the filter with soap or hygiene tablets only in case of severe contamination. After cleaning the filter must be thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water and given the chance to dry slowly.
Storage
- • Always store the hearing protection in a clean storage system.
- • Don't store other objects with the hearing protection.
Warnings
- • To prevent hearing damage, suitable hearing protection must always be worn in noisy situations.
- • The hearing protection must be inserted, adjusted and maintained according to the instructions. Regular cleaning and sufficient attention to maintenance ensure long-lasting and optimal performance.
- • Before inserting the hearing protection into the ear canal, always check that the filter is correctly placed in the earplug.
- • To achieve the specified attenuation level, the ear canal must be completely sealed by the earplug.
- • The parts of the hearing protection can be damaged if they come into contact with a sharp object.
- • Check the earplugs regularly for tears or other damage. These will have a negative effect on attenuation. Replace if necessary.
- • The hearing protection can be affected when it comes into contact with chemicals or alcohol.
- • Keep the hearing protection out of reach of small children.

This product is covered by a two (2) year limited manufacturer's warranty.
